Our Pastors

gaborMariano Gabor (Senior Pastor)
Pastor Gabor is an Ordained Bishop of the Church of God and has served LGCOG since its founding in 2002.  He also serves as Senior Pastor of Filipino Christian Center (FCC), where many of LGCOG’s founding members originally worshipped. (More of that story is told here.) Originally from the Philippines, he visited National Church of God in Fort Washington, Maryland and was subsequently asked if he would be interested in pastoring the burgeoning Filipino community in the area. After much prayer, Pastor Gabor and his family moved to the United States to lead FCC in 1990. Since then, he has extended his ministry to LGCOG and has lead the church since its founding. Pastor Gabor holds a Masters of Theological Studies and an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from National Bible College and Seminary. He lives in Fort Washington with his wife, Lutz, who also pastors a church in Crownsville, Maryland. They have three children and three grandchildren.
