Month: December 2017

Merry Christmas!

On December 24th starting at 12 mid-night, Christians all over the world will celebrate Christmas – Noche Buena (in English means Good Night) with foods on the table and opening of Christmas gifts under the tree. For some they can’t catch-up the late night and will sleep till morning of December 25th.

The story of Christmas has been written in Luke 2:1-20. The story of Christmas never grows old though it’s more than 2017 years ago. The story of Christmas is a message of Hope to the hopeless, life to the lifeless and forgiveness to the sinners.

The same message of old is still ringing in our ears, never changes. Though the strategy and the presentation changes, but the message of Christmas will still be the same yesterday, today and forevermore.

The validity of Christmas will remain authentic because it is written in the Word of God, spoken by the prophets of old and lived by the people who have seen and those who believe by faith the birth of the Savior-King Jesus the Messiah, which is Christ, the Lord.

Indeed, Jesus Christ came as a humble babe in the manger with a mission: “To seek and save the Lost. To die on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins.”
